Hi, I’m Yvette loredo.

Therapist, empath, healing practitioner. First generation, millenial Xicana. Intellectual, deeply spiritual. An eager student of Life and humble servant of Spirit. But first and foremost, just a girl from the northeast San Fernando Valley. Animal lover, tree hugger (don’t ask me about indoor plants though, lol). Plus sized, body positive queen. Stand up comedy fan. Hip hop head. Salsa and cumbia dancer. Oh and live music is my jam! It is my honor and privilege to connect with you, human to human first and therapist/healing practitioner second, as I strongly believe that our growth and healing is deeply relational.

A little about my training and experience. I hold a Masters in Social Welfare from UCLA. I have extensive experience providing psychotherapy to children, teens, and families. I am passionate about empowering people of color by helping them reclaim their peace, joy and power. I love working with tweens, teens, transitional aged youth, adult women, and parents. I understand the BIPOC millenial experience and love supporting first and second generation children of immigrants, as well as LGBTQ folks. Additionally, as a school social worker, I provide consultation at K-12 schools on promoting socioemotional wellness through multi-tiered systems of support. I advocate for at-promise youth and promote an ecological and social justice perspective in education.

I also offer energy medicine to clients who are choosing to integrate restorative, spiritual and holistic practices in their healing journey. I hold certifications in Pranic Healing, Reiki Healing, Breathwork Healing and provide energy medicine to both people and their animal companions.

I look forward to meeting you and working with you!
